Focus Friend Android is not a stripped-down version. The official FAQ at yourfocusfriend.com answers "When is Deep Focus Mode coming to Android?" with "It's available now for Android!" So if you use Focus Friend on Android, you get the same core experience as on iOS: Focus Friend app on Android includes the bean timer, Pomodoro-style breaks, Deep Focus Mode to block apps, and all three rooms (living room, kitchen, bedroom). The Focus Friend app Android package is com.underthing.focus.friend on Google Play. Focus Friend was also named Google Play's App of the Year, so the Focus Friend Android experience is fully supported.

Does Focus Friend work on Mac? Yes, with a caveat. On Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2/M3 or later) you can install the iPad version of Focus Friend from the Mac App Store. Focus Friend on Mac runs as that iPad build, so you get the bean timer, rooms, and most features. Deep Focus Mode on macOS may have limited functionality because it relies on iOS-style Screen Time. A dedicated Focus Friend Mac app is on the roadmap but not yet released.
